Overview
The working principle of the TG series drum dryer is to allow liquid or slurry like materials to form a thin film on the surface of the drum heated by other carriers of water vapor, and to be dried during one revolution of the drum,use a scraper to scrape off the product, expose the surface of the drum, and then contact the raw material again to form a thin film for drying.
Characteristic
★ Using steam or heat transfer oil as the heat source, it has a large heating area, high thermal efficiency, and uniform heating.
★ The drying rate is high, and the heat and mass transfer process of the wet material film on the cylinder wall is consistent from the inside out direction. The temperature gradient is large, which maintains a high evaporation intensity of the material film performance.
★ Short drying time, usually around 7-30 seconds, suitable for heat sensitive materials.
★ Easy to operate and maintain.
Application
The TG series drum dryer is widely used in the production and drying processes of sticky paste materials in industries such as food, chemical, and pharmaceutical.
